Privacy Notice

Last updated:

This notice explains how we handle the personal data you share with us when you join the Dixi Studio waitlist on this website, in accordance with Mexican law on the protection of personal data held by private parties.

Who is responsible for your data

DIXI PROJECT, S.A.S. de C.V., doing business as “Dixi Project,” is the data controller responsible for the personal data we collect through this website.

Address: Cerrada de Olmo, Manzana 5 Lote 17, Int. 1515, Col. Arbolada, C.P. 56570, Ixtapaluca, State of Mexico, Mexico.

For any privacy-related matter, email us at contact@dixi-project.com.

What data we collect

When you join the waitlist, we process the following data:

  • Email address (required).
  • Your role and company, if you choose to provide them (optional).
  • The language of the page and the page you signed up from.
  • The date and time you signed up.
  • A technical identifier derived from your connection: a short code, generated with an irreversible hash function, that we use only to prevent abusive sign-ups. We do not store your IP address in readable form.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data or financial information. By submitting the form, you agree to the processing of this data as described in this notice.

How we use your data

Primary purpose, required for the service you request: to let you know about the launch and the private beta of Dixi Studio, and to contact you to give you access.

Secondary purpose, not required for the above: to send you product news. If you don't want to receive it, email us at contact@dixi-project.com at any time; opting out won't affect the primary purpose or your place on the waitlist.

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for commercial purposes.

Who we share your data with

To run this website and the waitlist, we use Amazon Web Services (AWS), which acts as our processor: it handles the data only on our behalf and according to our instructions. Specifically, we use Amazon CloudFront to serve the website, AWS Lambda to process sign-ups and Amazon DynamoDB to store them, in the us-east-1 region, located in the United States.

As a result, your data is transferred to and hosted outside Mexico, on this provider's infrastructure. The provider may not use your data for its own purposes.

Apart from this provider, we do not share your data with third parties, except when required by a competent authority in accordance with the law.

Cookies and tracking technologies

This website does not use cookies, web beacons, or third-party analytics or advertising tools. Fonts are served from our own domain, with no requests to other services.

To deliver the pages, our servers receive technical data such as your IP address and your browser's language (which we use to send you to the version in your language). We don't use this data to identify or profile you, and the waitlist's technical logs don't contain your email address or IP address.

Voice data

This website does not collect audio, voice recordings or biometric data.

The processing of your voice within the Dixi Studio desktop app will be covered by its own privacy notice, which we will publish when the app becomes available and which you will be able to review before registering any voice.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data until you ask to be removed from the list or for up to 2 years of inactivity, whichever comes first. After that, we delete it.

How we protect your data

We apply technical and administrative safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, and access restricted to the people who need it for the purposes described in this notice.

Your ARCO rights and how to exercise them

Under Mexican law, you have the so-called ARCO rights:

  • Access: to know what data we hold about you and how we use it.
  • Rectification: to correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Cancellation: to ask us to delete it.
  • Opposition: to object to its use for specific purposes.

You may also withdraw the consent you gave us and limit the use or disclosure of your data — for example, by asking us not to send you product news. Please note that if you withdraw your consent for the primary purpose, we won't be able to notify you about the beta.

To exercise any of these rights, or to unsubscribe, email contact@dixi-project.com and include:

  • Your name.
  • The email address you signed up with.
  • The right you want to exercise.
  • A clear description of your request.

We will respond within 20 business days of receiving your request. If your request is granted, we will carry it out within 15 business days of our response.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you may contact the competent personal data protection authority in Mexico.

If you are outside Mexico

If you are in the European Union or the European Economic Area, or in Brazil, you may also exercise the rights granted to you by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD), respectively, by writing to the same address: contact@dixi-project.com.

Minors

Dixi Studio is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you are under 18, please do not join the waitlist. If you believe a minor has given us their data, email us at contact@dixi-project.com and we will delete it.
